A Message from Ms. Dina Monti

Dear Members of our St. Anthony - St. Frances of Rome School Community,

The teachers and students have participated in various activities which  support our value-based education.

Students in Grades 2 have received the Sacrament of penance and will receive First Holy Communion in May.

Students in Grade 7 will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in June.

The students and teachers  in Grades Kindergarten to 8 have worked very hard to participate in the School Science Fair.  Winners from each class will represent the school at the Bronx Catholic Schools Science Fair.

The Eight Graders have been accepted into many different Catholic Schools for next year.  Nine Academic Scholarships were awarded to Catholic High Schools and one student was accepted to Bronx High School of Science.

The students have collected approximately $700.00 to Catholic Relief Services for Haiti.  The students are now working on collecting money for Pennies for Patients which helps children with Leukemia.  I am very proud of the students efforts.

Pre-K to Grade2 students had breakfast with the Easter Bunny.

Students in Grades Pre-K to Grade 8 will participate in a Talent Show on May 6th under the direction of Mr. Carmine Abate.

Special thanks to our parent volunteers who have helped make this year successful!

We are planning a Pre-K three year old program for next year.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call the school at (718) 324 - 5104.

Please visit us and see our school family!

Sincerely,

Dina Monti, Principal
